Of Mice and Babies

You might have thought I was joking if you read Thursday's post full of wisdom for your future travels, and maybe I was. The most important thing is that we did get on the road eventually and are now landed in Ohio, thank the Lord.

Mike's view of nothing but rain the entire time and my view from my back-seat perch of nothing but Disney the entire time
Speaking of Disney movies, I think that my biggest gripe with several of the old princess films is the all-too-close relationship between the princess character and horribly dirty, germ infested rodents and birds. It's super creepy and I'll leave it at that.

It turns out that the more kids you have, the easier car trips get. Or the more movies you show on your built-in VHS player, the easier the trip is. I don't know, all I know is that there was minimal screaming, tons of sleeping for the tiniest Hahn, a little for the others and we got here before our target time.

I am not saying that I love Lucy more than the other girls, I am just saying that she is my favorite. For now:

This is what she looked like almost the entire 6 hour trip. And she still slept that night.
As for the others:
4 full length feature films later and they're brains are only partially fried.
Now we are recovering from a doozie of a night with the worst sleep whilst traveling ever in the history of bad sleepers whilst traveling. Her name begins with N and ends with aomi.

I am sure I will be giving you plentiful partially annoying play-by-plays of our fun filled travels, so stay tuned!
